West Lindsey District Council promotes an extensive health walk programme and numerous walks take place on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays every week throughout the year. All the walks are free and commence from many different locations and are led by volunteer Walk Leaders who have been trained by Natural England. Dogs must be kept under strict control and on a lead at all times.
3 levels of walk are available:-
WalK well - very easy short walks for anyone who is new to exercise or recovering from illness.
Easy walks - between 2 and 3 miles, for about 1 hour, may include some stiles and slight inclines.
Moderate walks - longer and more challenging, up to 4 miles, from 60 to 90 minutes.
Please wear strong comfortable shoes and take waterproof clothing.
